Day 5- Our first full day in Padre and Eco-Cruise

We were excited for our first full day in Padre so we got up and went to breakfast on Pier 19 it was so yummy!  After that we went back to get Rylee a nap before our planned Eco-Cruise that afternoon.  Rylee and I lucked out on the cruise and had the best spot!  They take the boat out and dredge the bottom of the ocean with a net and bring it up to see what all they get.  This time they got a catfish, dogfish, starfish, a couple of stingrays, 2 blue crabs, a flounder and a couple of other fish.  They took each one out and talked about what it was it we even got to touch them!  Rylee really enjoyed looking in the cooler to see the fish swimming around.  Don't worry all of them were returned safely to the ocean after the educational speech:)  The second half of the cruise they took us over to see some dolphins!  There was a mama and her baby and another dolphin we got to see.  That part was really cool.  That night we went to a fun little restaurant right by the house called Tom and Jerry's for dinner.  After dinner we headed to the beach for Rylee's first time in the ocean.  She LOVED the ocean and the waves and was just staring at the waves when it was time to go.  Rylee's first time in the ocean was Memorial Day 2011.
