fourth of july festivities

The first celebration for the fourth of July was a parade at their school and a fun patriotic party after!  Then we decided to get a hotel room and spend the night in Addison for Kaboom town.  Getting a room right in Addison is the only way to do this since if you drive it takes hours to get out!  We did some swimming at the hotel and then headed over to Addison Circle for some games, bounce houses and fun.  When it was time for the fireworks they were awesome and the kiddos really enjoyed them.  On the short walk back to the hotel they both were out very fast from their fun busy day.  On the acutal 4th of July we headed to the Flower Mound celebration for more rides, hot dogs and face painting.  Rylee wanted a cat and she looked so cute.  We then headed over for some snow cones...yummy before heading home for some much needed naps.  After dinner we walked across the street to watch the Flower Mound firework show and also could see the Lewisville and Grapevine shows too so we got to see three shows!  I hope everyone had a Happy and safe Fourth of July!
